PRACTICE TRADITIONAL FORM

Taekwon-do was an intense martial art mostly for adults in the 1950s and 1960s. The majority of the practitioners were adults at that time. Taekwon-do turned its focus towards children in the 1970s and 1980s when the martial art became a sport. Originally, practitioners practiced traditional form. Grandmaster JAE HUN KIM was personally taught by the founder of traditional form and further developed the style for 45 years, and JAE HUN KIM TAEKWON-DO is a highly regarded institute that offers programs with a level of authenticity that is unchallenged by any other taekwon-do studio in the world. STRONG TAEKWON-DO WITH A PRACTICAL FOCUS

Do you think taekwon-do is not very formidable as a martial art? Taekwon-do is not all about feet movements. In actual sparring situations, there are no rules. We employ the full-range sparring concept and teach our students in a systematic and safe manner with a range of hand and feet movements and skills that can be applied to actual sparring, so students can gain strength to protect themselves in extreme situations.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Children aged from 4 to 6 tend to have a short concentration span, not have the ability to put others before themselves and have a limited level of understanding rules. We boost young children’s social, emotional, linguistic and physical development.

EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Young children learn to concentrate by practicing taekwon-do. They also become more considerate while practicing and playing with other children. In addition, they develop a sense of order and linguistic abilities.
A range of stage-based classes and physical activities make participants feel rewarded and confident, which is a stepping stone to healthy adolescence.

DEMONSTRATION GROUP OPERATION

If you practice and learn taekwon-do for a while in JAE HUN KIM TAEKWON-DO and pass our test, you can join the demonstration group. As a member of the group, you get to participate in events that showcase JAE HUN KIM TAEKWON-DO’s strengths. The group is often invited to schools, shopping malls and events and demonstrates taekwon-do skills in public.

You will gain more confidence, improve skills and feel rewarded as a martial artist by displaying your taekwon-do skills in front of many people.
